Parkland. Fl High School Student David Hogg continues to make the rounds on the liberal media circuit, blaming the school shooting on everyone but the shooter himself.
Hogg continues to take his rhetoric higher, now accusing President Trump, Sen. Rubio, and Gov. Scott of wearing “shock collars” for their NRA masters.
But he didn’t stop there.
Hogg also demanded that people all over the country boycott Florida, and not travel there for spring break or tourism until “gun legislation is passed.”
So now Hogg wants to punish the millions of Floridians who depend on the tourism industry to make a living, just so he can make a political point?
He has now personally slandered Pres. Trump, Senator Rubio, Governor Scott, and is trying to hurt his fellow Floridians until his demands are met.
Well, Conservatives are taking to Twitter and fighting back.
Twitter user Jack Murphy said Hogg’s boycott of NRA-supporting companies backfired, and this “boycott” will too.
Another user said he would not only “piss off” millions of law-abiding Floridians, but he would also RUIN local economies.
Hogg seems to have worn out his welcome for many Conservatives.
Ben Shapiro had another EPIC response to some of Hogg’s most ridiculous statements:
National Review Editor Charles Cooke called Hogg out in a brilliant article that is going viral. Here’s some of what he said.
“…Suffering through a terrible crime gives a person no special insight into its causes, and Hogg has no special insight into its causes — or, frankly, into anything else. He’s ignorant about basic civics; he’s liable to backward reasoning; and, unable as he is to synthesize the evolving talking points upon which he relies, he has increasingly come across as slippery.”
Then, Cooke pointed out how Hogg has now just resorted to simplifying complex issues and making childish demands.
“For some reason, David Hogg has come to suppose that he can slice through this reality by issuing threats: Give me what I want, or I’ll stop using FedEx; give me what I want, or I won’t go back to school; give me what I want, or Florida’s economy gets it. And, by the way, I’m going to outlive you…”
“This, suffice it to say, is not how republics work, and whether he likes it or not, Hogg lives in a republic. There is no Angry Victim clause in our constitutional text.”
Do you think CNN and other liberal media outlets should stop devoting so much time to giving Hogg a platform? Let us know below!
