Democratic senator Joe Manchin is ashamed of his party’s disrespect during Trump’s SOTU address.
America recently witnessed President Trump’s first State of the Union Address and his display was both powerful and patriotic. He spoke of all the great accomplishments that have occurred in one year of his being in office which includes things like the economy and job market. O, and the lowest African American unemployment rate but apparently none of that is impressive to democrats, not even the African American ones.
Senator Joe Manchin is one of the few democrats who did display of code of decorum and present a respectful manner of behavior in front of the a President.
Here’s a picture of the Congressional Black Caucus sitting on their hands during SOTU when Trump commented on the fact that black unemployment is at its lowest level in history.
Democrats are so jaded and so filled with hate that they can’t even clap for the fact that black people are doing well in the Trump economy.
From The Daily Caller:
Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia praised President Donald Trump’s State of The Union speech Wednesday morning and said Democrats who refused to stand were “disrespectful.”
Manchin told “Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade it was common courtesy to stand for Trump as a Democrat.
“That’s the way I was raised in West Virginia. We have respect. There is civility still yet. There should be civility in this place,” he said. “That’s disrespectful. Last night was disrespectful.”
