El Cajon, California has officially outlawed food assistance that citizens offer to homeless residents.
In a shocking display of anti-humanity a city in California, El Cajon, has begun arresting citizens who dare feed the homeless. No joke, public assistance in this city is frowned upon which is completely baffling. Since when is community camaraderie and unity a bad thing? And the excuse of preventing the spread of Hepatitis A, pathetic. Once again liberals in California have gone completely bonkers.
The city just east of San Diego, El Cajon, must not have any other crime worth prosecuting, so on a sunny Sunday afternoon, they sent a squad of uniformed officers to swarm Wells Park.
It’s a good thing, too, because witnesses said the food was hot and delicious – exactly what the homeless need.
The event was organized by a rather stubborn group of citizens called “Break the Ban.” They formed after the El Cajon City Council unanimously passed a ban on the distribution of food on any city-owned property.
They claim, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune, that the ordinance is a way to protect the public from hepatitis A, but critics say it’s merely a measure to criminalize and dehumanize the homeless.
Many city communities have come together in order to solve the problem of homelessness via tiny home compounds or other such helping hand projects meant to provide opportunities for those who have fallen far. California on the other hand has the exact opposite mentality. Screw helping homeless American citizens, illegal immigrants are who really matter m, isn’t that right?
