Mitt Romney And Harry Reid Face Off …And They’re Throwing Some Pretty Tough Blows

on

I can respect Reid for the fact that his opinions have stayed his own and he has stood firm to what he believes in. Romney on the other hand is easily swayed, and absolutely can’t be trusted. The gloves are off..and you’re going to want to see this!

VIA| Trump on Tuesday chose Exxon Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of State, ending Romney’s open lobbying for the position.

“Mitt Romney is somebody I had respect for,” Reid told The Huffington Post before Trump announced his nomination of Tillerson. “I have none anymore.

“This is a man who came out big-time against Trump,” he added. “Oh, the things he said about Trump. Well, that’s great, that’s wonderful.”

The former GOP governor of Massachusetts in March blasted Trump as “a phony” and “a fraud.”

“Either he wasn’t telling the truth, or he’s a person with no character,” Reid said. “And having said that, to go and do homage to this guy he said awful things about, I don’t think that shows much character.”

Romney touted Reid’s criticism as a badge of honor, saying he had lost respect for the Nevada senator in 2012.

“As for Mr. Reid, I lost respect for him when he repeatedly lied about my taxes and later admitted to it cheerily,” he said. “Good riddance, Mr. Reid. The Senate will be better served without you in it.”

Reid famously accused Romney of having not paid any taxes for a decade during the 2012 presidential campaign.

…continues to sound like 2 little kids in the sandbox fighting over who gets which toy. As adults(?) I would like them to stop the petty bickering and act like grownup and mature individuals like they should! Or is this the way the politicians are supposed to be? I certainly hope not….
