Barack and Michelle Obama just signed a $50 million deal to produce feature length movies and series for Netflix. If you’re asking yourself what does a former community organizer and failed U.S. president and his wife know about producing movies you’re not alone.
As President Trump continues to open our eyes to the economic potential that our country holds and the improved standard of living that is possible for all Americans you’d think that the Obama’s would be avoided like the plague.
But, for Washington’s political elites and their corporate sponsors it’s not about you. It hasn’t been about you or your family for more than a century.
For the reason, harken back to this portion of President Trump’s inaugural address:
Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the people.
For too long a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
Washington flourished but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country.
Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there has been little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes starting right here and right now because this moment is your moment. It belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.
This is your day.
This is your celebration.
And this – the United States of America – is your country.
What truly matters is not which party controls our government but whether our government is controlled by the people.
January 20 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.
Wow. At the time those sounded like just words but after an incredible – perhaps record-setting – first 16-months in office these words take on significantly more meaning as we bear witness to the elites efforts to topple, the man who has earned the title, “the peoples’ president.”
This should tell you everything you need to know why Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos is willing to dole out $50MM and couch it with this reason:
“We are incredibly proud they have chosen to make Netflix the home for their formidable storytelling abilities.”
That is hard to argue with when you realize Netflix’s role in the Trump resistance movement. In retrospect, the Obama’s managed to seduce America with their lies and misrepresentations. And, somehow despite a disastrous first term they managed to get re-elected. That is a gift the Deep State, and the international corporate cabal that they exist to serve, cherish in those they choose to present to us to become elected “leaders.”
Now Sarandos is banking on the Obama’s to lead the #resistance to President Trump’s “Americans First,”from a Netflix office suite. Controlling the media narrative is essential to maintaining the Deep State’s efficacy.
While the CIA, FBI, and DOJ conspire to remove President Trump from office, the Obama’s are tasked with helping Americans accept that it is all for the best.
Netflix was a likely landing spot for the Obama’s in light of the Sarandos’ prior financing of Hussein’s 2012 campaign. Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avent had bundled close to $600,000 dollars for that effort. Couple this with Avent’s father’s $450,000 in bundled campaign contributions and the picture starts becoming clear.
In Washington’s world of quid pro quo where money talks and bullshit walks, Sarandos’ wife, Nicole Avent, was rewarded with the ambassadorship to the Bahamas.
The Obama’s spent eight years enriching the corporate sponsors of Washington’s ruling UniParty – Democrats and McCain-led Republicans – and he’s reaping his rewards from them now.
